(More customer reviews)I received this as a gift.I used this potty to train my 18 month old.She's not a big winnie the pooh fan but it got the job done.It was a nice height so at this age she could just comfortably sit on the potty herself.The seat surface is pretty wide and the depth is very good so as that all my daughter has to do is slide herself till she can't anymore.The potty opening looks small but I've never had a problem with my daughter getting anything outside the potty (other than normal acts of not closing her legs or holding them too tight).
My daughter has always been on to the fact that the flushing does nothing other than make a sound but I will say the flusher part is very durable.There have been a few occassions where I have thoroughly cleaned the potty in water while forgetting about the flusher part and it still works perfectly.The stool is simple and cute. It's all plastic so no complaints on cleaning it.
I've tried to snap the potty seat into my toilet and it snaps in very tight. The same four pieces that snap in the stool base, just snap right into and under the toilet seat.There's no budging it so it doesn't move under my daughter. Much better than trying to use the portable one where I'm trying to figure out how far front or back I should put it and praying it doesn't slip or bend and pinch her legs.Only complaint one may have is that it is all hard plastic so no soft potty seat for those who like the elderly cushioned seats (lol). My daughter; however, has no problem with it. It leaves no red marks probably because the openng is small and therefore all of her bottom and thighs remain comfortably on the solid flat seat surface.Recommend.
