(More customer reviews)I started looking early at different potty chairs for my son because he was showing the "signs" at about ten months old. However, I came to realize that I didn't like the design of most of the potties out there. My largest concern was that I wanted my son to be comfortable on his chair, and most of the potty chairs have a lid on which the underside has a lip of about an inch or so.. I don't think that would be very comfy digging into my son's back. Plus, a lot of them had so many bells and whistles, so-to-speak, and I want to teach my son to go to the BATHROOM, not play a game. When I found the pottyPOD I was ecstatic - until I saw the price. I eventually gave in and bought it, and I'm so glad I did! He LOVES sitting on it. The seat is cushy, it's the perfect height, I love that the splash guard is so large, but flexible. There's nothing on it to hurt my son, and he's already gone poop on it twice (pee five times). In under a week. He's not quite eighteen months old, and that's a big deal to me, and especially to him.
The only downside I've found in this chair is that it's pretty wide, and my son is fairly thin. It took him a while to get the hang of how to get onto it.
Overall, I love this chair, I'm definitely glad I spent the extra money, and most importantly, my son loves it most.
